About the Team

Uber Advertising’s vision is to offer the most marketplace-centric advertising to connect Uber's platform users (eaters, riders, and earners) with advertisers. Uber Advertising’s platform brings together location based and shopping data with closed loop attribution across its mobility and delivery channels for performance and brand campaigns, enabling advertisers to engage with our consumers through the entire marketing funnel - from awareness through purchase to loyalty and advocacy for Uber users.
At Uber, we have set up a new Uber Advertising division to spearhead the growth of its advertising business. By building a dedicated advertising organization and a suite of advertising products, Uber Advertising will enable merchants and brands to reach and convert its highly engaged user base across its Mobility and Delivery platforms in 32 markets.

About the Role:

Uber Advertising is launching an in-car tablet network with our top Uber Drivers in 2023 with the goal to create a magical Rider experience and increase Driver engagement and earnings. We are looking for a senior Advertising Sales lead who will be responsible for monetizing the Uber Tablet Network via content partnerships, brand sponsorships and video advertising sales. The Head of Tablet Sales will work closely with the Uber Tablets General Manager, the Global Head of Advertising Sales and Vertical Sales Leadership to develop, pitch and close advertising opportunities. The role will be an individual contributor reporting to the Global Head of Advertising Sales.

What You'll Do

  • Own Uber Tablet Network revenue generation
  • Build content partnership, brand sponsorship and video advertising packages in partnership with the Uber Tablets General Manager, Global Head of Advertising Sales and Vertical Sales Leadership
  • Develop and implement Tablet Network sales strategy
  • Lead sales pitches with top brand and agency partners
  • Enable Vertical Sales Teams to pitch and close Tablet opportunities
  • Work with Marketing to develop Tablet Network sales collateral
  • Inform Product development to deliver on advertiser needs

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience, ideally with experience in advertising Sales, preferably in Digital Video or CTV.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience selling digital video, CTV and/or TV to large brands and agencies
  • Experience building content partnerships and sponsorship packages in the digital space
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to synthesize data into advertiser insights
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and build processes from the ground up
  • Team-first mentality
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and solve opportunities alongside cross functional teams
  • Vast network of brand direct and agency relationships

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $161,000 per year - $179,000 per year.For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $179,000 per year - $199,000 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $179,000 per year - $199,000 per year.For Santa Monica, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $161,000 per year - $179,000 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, sales bonuses & other types of comp.
